Eventually, everything that exists and all that occurs contributes to the Christian’s benefit and blessing.

Although sin rejects the goodness of God, and evil corrupts and opposes it, God’s goodness remains such that our lives, though degraded, are not destroyed or dissolved.

How does the goodness of God actually take hold of a world so full of evil and disorder?

No doubt, the presence everywhere of devastating and heart-breaking evil in a world created by a perfectly good God presents, from a human perspective, the deepest of all problems.

If sin and evil are not from God, yet fall within his allowance, and had no place in the original creation, how then does a good God relate his will to their existence?
